Quaint cafe in Eyam, serving delicious home cooking and baking

Come along and visit my Vintage Tea Room at Ivy Cottage in the beautiful Peak District village of Eyam. Ivy Cottage was built in around 1650 and the Vintage Tea Room has been created from an outbuilding in the cottage garden.

I specialise in traditional home cooking and baking. I serve an English Sunday Roast, from 12 noon to 2pm, everything else on the menu is served throughout the day.

Come and try one of my hearty homemade Soups served with bread and butter or indulge yourself and have it with a cheese toasty. Other menu regulars are Toasted Bloomer Melts, Potato Chips and Dips. Plus a range of Home Baked Cakes, Scones with clotted cream and jam and my scrumptious Fruit Pie of the day together with a range of Ice Cream Sundae’s.

For drinks I serve a generous Pot of Tea, fresh ground Coffee, Hot Chocolate and a range of soft drinks.

Ivy Cottage Vintage Tea Room is open every Sunday throughout the year from 11am to 5pm and I have additional tables outside in my front garden. Walkers are welcome and we are dog friendly.

For my English Sunday Roast, please book your table in advance.

Baking Service

I am also taking advance bookings for my Baking Service (prices on request). I offer a range of delicious celebration cakes, fruit pies or scones.

Or my special homemade Savoury Pork and Chicken Pie, made with British pork, fresh garden herbs, caramelised onion and apple with a centre of chicken marinated in cranberry sauce.

Below are a few examples of my cakes and bakes.
